Weatherization Workshop with NYPA

This workshop will provide different ways for you to save money and energy at home! Food will be provided and all attendees will receive a home weatherization kit that includes weather stripping, caulk, a shrink-wrap window kit, a power strip, an LED light bulb, and more. Kits with winter emergency supplies will also be provided.

Good for the Neighborhood with the Independent Health Foundation

Good for the Neighborhood is a free, community-based wellness program that brings health-related training and tools to areas where access to health care is limited. Individuals and families are encouraged to manage and improve their health by attending quarterly health fair-style events and workshops.

What’s included: Free health screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, height, and weight), produce/grocery giveaways, kids’ activities, raffles, visiting organizations offering additional resources
