👧🏽👦🏼 Ages 5-12 (Must be in PK – 6th grade* in the 2025-26 school year and at least 5 years old by July 6, 2026.)

 

🏫 Location – West Side Community Services, 161 Vermont Street, Buffalo 14213

 

📋 Student must be a Buffalo Public Schools student attending a district school, charter school, agency school, or Universal PK program.

 

* Note: Other Say Yes summer camp sites are enrolling students up to grade 8. Our camp is enrolling grades PK-6 only.

 

About the program: WSCS is operating a Say Yes Buffalo day camp this year. Each day that your child attends, they will receive breakfast, a boxed lunch, educational instruction, physical fitness activities, creative enrichment programming, and A LOT of fun! We also take field trips throughout the summer.

 

Registration: Summer camp registration will open on the Say Yes website on April 15, 2026.

About the program: We are participating in the Erie County Summer Youth Employment Program. Eligible young adults may apply for either program and request placement at West Side Community Services. (Placement is not guaranteed.)

The Erie County Summer Youth Employment Program is open to youth age 14-20. The deadline to apply has passed.

 

What do our SYEPs do?

As a Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) staff member, you will assist at our West Side Kids summer camp for 5-12-year-olds. All SYEPs assigned to our worksite will participate as Counselors In Training (CITs).
