Youth must be accompanied by an adult to attend our community events.
Families and children of all ages are invited to our fourth annual Lights On Autumn Carnival!

Registration: Please register in advance so we have an accurate headcount and can communicate with you in case of unexpected changes to the event.

🎃 And other activities!
Dare to Repair Cafes are community fix-it events where people can bring in broken household items and work alongside a team of volunteer fixers to try to repair the item for free!

Good for the Neighborhood with the Independent Health Foundation
Good for the Neighborhood is a free, community-based wellness program that brings health-related training and tools to areas where access to health care is limited. Individuals and families are encouraged to manage and improve their health by attending quarterly health fair-style events and workshops.
What’s included: Produce/grocery giveaways, kids’ activities, raffles and prizes, health and wellness resources, plus visiting organizations offering additional resources.
Registration is not required for these events; just stop by!

Help us celebrate 20 years of Good for the Neighborhood events at West Side Community Services! We’ll have:
🫑 FREE recipe bags with fresh ingredients
🧴 FREE hygiene supplies
🍳 FREE raffle of kitchen appliances and Tops gift cards
🎃 FREE pumpkins for kids to decorate
💉 Flu shots and blood pressure checks
ℹ️ Visiting vendors providing information about local resources
PLUS, Erie County’s energy affordability programs will be on site early starting at 2 p.m. Come speak with representatives from HEAP, WNY Clean Energy Hub, ECLIPSE (community solar program), and National Fuel.
