Please register in advance so we have an accurate headcount and we can communicate with you in case of any unexpected changes to the event!

 

Good for the Neighborhood with the Independent Health Foundation

Good for the Neighborhood is a free, community-based wellness program that brings health-related training and tools to areas where access to health care is limited. Individuals and families are encouraged to manage and improve their health by attending quarterly health fair-style events and workshops.

What’s included: Produce/grocery giveaways, kids’ activities, raffles and prizes, health and wellness resources, plus visiting organizations offering additional resources.

 

2025 Good for the Neighborhood Schedule:

 

Thursday, October 16 | 5-6:30 p.m.

  • Blood pressure screenings and Ask the Pharmacist

  • Free produce bags with recipe cards

  • Free hygiene bags

  • Flu shots and other vaccines (please bring your insurance card if you have one)

  • Decorate your own pumpkin (kids only, while supplies last)

  •  Raffles/prizes

  • Other local organizations providing information on programs and resources
